I was signed up for the Marathon. However, due to Jenna’s cancer, i wasn’t able to train for the last 4-6 weeks leading up to the race.
I was planning on still giving the Marathon a shot, but as it turned out, i had to fly out of town early that afternoon for a job interview in Memphis, for my current job.
So, I had to run the Half Marathon... (and I was glad I did :).
It was a drizzly day, I was able to run at the pace I was hoping for (around 9:00 min/Mi) to get under 2 hours, so I was happy with that.
This was my first ever run race !!!
