I had not been training much distance, and therefore I decided to race this in a Z2 pace. More as a training run than a race.
I ran with Aaron, and we did really well holding around a 9:15-9:20 pace throughout. The weather was much warmer than last year’s 32 degrees. It was also very humid.
We did well and kept the pace throughout the race. The last 3 or 4 miles were really though. I hit the wall. Aaron was great in getting me to keep up and not get left behind. I was hurting bad, but stayed with him till the finish and was glad i did !!!
